Minor Hockey Coaches for Hire (Fall/Winter)

Want VHG to be a part of your Minor Hockey Association? Starting in 2022-23, you can bring the VHG team to your home association with our new ‘Minor Hockey Coaches for Hire’ Program! We love teaching the game of hockey – you will see that in the energy that we bring to your building.

Run a Practice

How it Works: Your Minor Hockey Association (OR minor hockey team; we do team-specific training too) pays VHG a fee per hour for the following:

*** Coaches fees (One lead instructor + 1-3 VHG krewe members depending on the number of players and group age)

*** Use of VHG practice equipment

Note*** jerseys worn for these practices is the discretion of the Minor Hockey Association; VHG does not provide jerseys for these events

Cost: Contact ap@vhghockey.ca for pricing. VHG usually charges a set fee per player per hour for teams (example – 15 players x price $Y to minor hockey team, who then pays us the total). For a larger group (say – an association’s entire U13 division) VHG charges a set fee for the group per hour.

Run a Weekend Camp

How it Works: Your Minor Hockey Association pays VHG a set weekend fee for the following:

*** Coaches fees (One lead instructor + 1-3 VHG krewe members depending on the number of players and ages of the groups)

*** Use of VHG practice equipment

*** Player evaluations in the form of an online report card on vhghockey.ca web site

*** 1 VHG practice jersey per player

How many hours of ice time, age divisions, and off-ice activities will be negotiated between VHG and the Minor Hockey Association to determine a suitable price for the camp. Registration for each camp will be done by the Minor Hockey Association through their own channels (online/e-mail etc) but will be shared via VHG’s social media.
