Camps (Summer)
Camp #1 (Hockey-Golf Hybrid Camp)
Vision Hockey Group (VHG) are excited to continue one of its first ever summer camps and that is the marriage of two sports which is hockey and golf. This camp is for the U13 and U15 ages (this upcoming minor hockey season) that allows any participant of any skill (golf or hockey) the opportunity to learn and sharpen skills at both sports. If you are new to the game, no problem we will have equipment covered for you so what an opportunity to learn a new sport in a safe and positive environment.

Camp Details
COST: $500
· Player eligible if born in these ages *Ages reflect what the player will be playing next season*
· U13: 2013 and 2014
· U15: 2011 and 2012
· Dates: July 2nd – 4th (3 days)
· On ice location: Twin Rinks
· Golf locations: A combination but not limited to the following, Pitch & Putt, Pippy Park (Captains Hill) and/or Bally Haly (North Course) …. If rained out Riverdale Fun Centre is our option B (golf, bowling and potentially arcade)
· Transportation: Provided, all that is required is drop off and pick up from Twin Rinks.
· Size of groups will be 32 players and 4 goalies (maximum) so we have enough to shot gun a 9 hole course so golf play time is maximized.
· Camp Structure:
· 3-day camp and each day for each group has same structure
· 1 group will be at Twin Rinks in the morning while the other group is at the golf course.
· Groups will switch around lunch time to switch locations and play the other sport
· VHG Jersey, gift and necessary golf item to be provided for the players.

Camp #2 (Female Skills Camp)
This hockey camp will be focused on providing a positive hockey development experience both on and off the ice and strives to create lasting memories as these minor hockey players and goalies challenge themselves in a fun and supportive atmosphere. The idea behind this camp is to give all girls an opportunity to grow their game and gain and/or enhance their confidence in all situations on or off the ice. This camp will focus on a lot of skating, shooting, passing and puck protection fundamentals. Once those areas are covered, we will introduce game philosophies based on those teaching to execute in certain situations.

· Date: July 7th – 11th, 2025 (5 days)
· Location: Twin Rinks, St. John’s
Camp Structure:
· Monday – Friday full day (9am-4pm) Drop off 830am and pick up 415-430pm *Subject to change depending on day of the camp – will be forwarded to the parents/guardians prior to camp start*
· 2 on ice sessions covering many topics and areas of the game to develop such as puck touches, how to skate with the puck effectively, techniques of shooting and passing, body leverage philosophies in game scenarios and much, much more!
· Different activities introduced throughout the camp such as bowling, mini golf, laser tag, etc… *Activities subject to change based on availability*
· Transportation: Provided, all that is required is drop off and pick up from Twin Rinks.
· Size of groups will be 24 players and 4 goalies

Camp #3 (U11/13/15 Defensive Tactics Camp)
Our D Tactics Camp is all about the defenders! The idea behind this camp is to give any player the opportunity to develop their overall game on the defensive side of the puck while coupling that on how to push the offensive from the back end in all 3 zones of the ice.

· Date: July 14th – 18th, 2025 (5 days)
· Location: Twin Rinks, St. John’s
· Camp Structure:
· Monday – Friday full day (9am-4pm) Drop off 830am and pick up 415-430pm *Subject to change depending on day of the camp – will be forwarded to the parents/guardians prior to camp start*
· 2 on ice sessions covering many topics such as how to play 1 on 1’s, how to walk the blue line with the puck, how to retrieve pucks safely in the corner and much more!
· Different activities introduced throughout the camp such as bowling, mini golf, laser tag etc… *Activities subject to change based on availability*
· Transportation: Provided, all that is required is drop off and pick up from Twin Rinks.
· Size of groups will be 24 players and 4 goalies

Vision Hockey Group (VHG) are excited to launch its first ever U11 Battle Tactics “BT” summer camp! The idea behind the camp is to have all small area game drills while working on the necessary edge work to execute while completing them.

· U11: 2015 and 2016
· Dates: July 21st – 25th, 2025 (5 days)
· Location: Capital Subaru Arena, St. John’s
· Structure of the camp:
· Monday – Friday full day (9am-4pm) Drop off 830am and pick up 415-430pm *Subject to change depending on day of the camp – will be forwarded to the parents/guardians prior to camp start*
· 2 on ice sessions covering many topics such as how to use you body in battle drills effectively, how to creating scoring chances it tight areas, what to look for when shooting on a goaltender while battling it out and much more!
· Different activities introduced throughout the camp such as bowling, mini golf, laser tag, etc… *Activities subject to change based on availability*
· Transportation: Provided, all that is required is drop off and pick up from Twin Rinks.
· Size of groups will be 24 players and 4 goalies (maximum)

Camp #6 (U7 Learn To Skate Camp)
Vision Hockey Group (VHG) are excited to continue our half day learn to skate “LTS” summer camp for our littlest kiddos! The idea behind this camp is to develop the fundamentals of skating that will set up the kids for the sport of hockey for their upcoming season and hopefully many other seasons as they grow their love for the game.

COST: $400

· U7: 2019 and 2020
· Dates: August 4th – 8th, 2025 (5 days)
· Location: Capital Subaru Arena, St. John’s

· Group 1: On-ice 12-1pm, off ice 1pm-2pm (classroom session) & on-ice 2-3pm
· Group 2: On-ice 1-2pm, off ice 2-3pm (classroom session) & on-ice 3-4pm

Camp #7 (U9 Edges and Touches Camp)
Vision Hockey Group (VHG) are excited to continue our edges and touches “ET” summer camp will be FULL DAY! The idea behind this camp is to progress with the fundamentals of skating and incorporate more dynamic edge work drills coupled with puck skills to enhance overall skill development in the players.
