Spring Travel Program Details
Who Can Participate: The VHG Travel Program is typically reserved for players who take part in our Small Group Skills Training program, Jr Purple program and/or programming throughout the calendar year. However, VHG has added players from outside the program in the past and will go outside the boundaries of the program if spaces need to be filled.

What Comes With the Travel Program (2027)
Once the team(s) are selected, VHG offers a Spring Travel Package to players that includes*:
*** Practice/game time leading up to the off-island trip (8 hours)
*** Custom jersey/hockey socks
*** Tournament and coaches fees
*** Attire (hoodie, t-shirt, shorts, 1 VHG gift item)
*** One (1) team meal
*** Player insurance
*** The cost of the above is $839.99 + tax.
*** The above items are packaged together for a fee to VHG. All other costs (hotel in travel destination, rental vehicle, airfare, gas, personal spending money) are separate costs that the players and families are responsible for. If travelling with close friends, sharing a rental vehicle and hotel fares can help reduce cost of the trip.

Early bird window starts Friday, October 16th

VHG will personally email players who travelled with us last year during the early bird window, along with players who have attended VHG programming in age divisions above to see if they are interested in travelling.

Early bird window closes Thursday, October 29th

General public will be informed and able to show interest starting Friday, October 30th
January/Early February – Rosters will be announced and a “next steps e-mail” will go out. Then there will be a deposit window where players officially confirm their roster space by making a program deposit ($347.83 + tax). This is a non-refundable deposit; if something happens where a player pays the deposit and cannot go, the player will still get their VHG-themed clothes and in-house credit which can be used for future programming.
Spring – Training Camps occur for each team. Full payments are required to be made before travel happens.
