VHL Leagues (Fall/Winter/Spring)

Intro

The VHL program is implemented on a smaller ice surface to encourage skill development, increase puck touches, find open ice and develop the mental side of the game! The VHL is a league that is FUN and SAFE!

The VHL is mostly 3-on-3 (sometimes 4v4) hockey games with positional/game theory discussion along with drills specifically designed to reinforce the concepts being taught. The purpose of these discussions/drills is to break up the action week-to-week, and to encourage a VHG core principle of teaching the game.

Players will improve their skills at a rapid pace in this program! The VHL is a great place to hone your skills, meet new friends and have a lot of fun in the process.

Registration Process

Online – click the button below to sign up for Spring ’26 VHL. Note that U11/13/15 VHL (for V2 membership skaters) is full. We have space for Drop-in member skaters. Goalies – there is room for all membership types in all age divisions.

Age Groups

Spring ’26 – U11/13/15 Co-Ed (Spring ’26 U11 is 2016/17 birthyears, U13 is 2014/15 birthyears and U15 is 2012/13 birthyears)

Arena

Spring ’26 – Capital Subaru Arena (Hebron Way St. John’s)

Cost

For the Spring ’26 term, the price is $300 taxes included for V2 members and $37.50 per game for Drop-In Members. Reminder that V2 members get first right to games; drop-in members may not get many games in this league depending on program demand.

Schedule

Spring ’26 games schedule is 2 games per week for 4 weeks in June (8 games total). Games schedule will be e-mailed out to you by kavy@vhghockey.ca .
