Junior Purple Program (Fall/Winter)
U11 and U13 Fall Vision Hockey League (“The VHL”)
The VHL program is implemented on a smaller ice surface to encourage skill development, increase puck touches, find open ice and develop the mental side of the game! The VHL is a league that is FUN and SAFE!
The VHL is mostly 3-on-3 hockey games with positional/game theory discussion along with drills specifically designed to reinforce the concepts being taught. The purpose of these discussions/drills is to break up the action week-to-week, and to encourage a VHG core principle of teaching the game.
Players will improve their skills at a rapid pace in this program! The VHL is a great place to hone your skills, meet new friends and have a lot of fun in the process.

U7 Fall Skating Basics (“SB”) Program
The U7 SB program will be focused on developing the skating foundation of each individual while incorporating different small area games to ensure the kids are having fun while learning the basics. As players progress with their skating ability, VHG will incorporate teachings through skills and drills that will include pucks.

U9 Fall Skating Basics Plus (“SB+”) Program
The U9 SB+ program will be focused on continuing the skating foundation of each individual while incorporating more dynamic edge work techniques to assist everyone in their development of players’ overall skating. As the players in the group progress with their skating ability, we will incorporate teachings through skills and drills with different edge work philosophies that will include pucks to further teach all involved how to navigate that part of the sport which is crucial to their overall development!
