U7 Skating Basics (“SB”)

The U7 SB program will be focused on developing the skating foundation of each individual while incorporating different small area games to ensure the kids are having fun while learning the basics. As players progress with their skating ability, VHG will incorporate teachings through skills and drills that will include pucks. This class is co-ed

U9 Skating Basics Plus (“SB+”)

The U9 SB+ program will be focused on continuing the skating foundation of each individual while incorporating more dynamic edge work techniques to assist everyone in their development of players’ overall skating. As the players in the group progress with their skating ability, we will incorporate teachings through skills and drills with different edge work philosophies that will include pucks to further teach all involved how to navigate that part of the sport which is crucial to their overall development!
